Beaujolais Tasting 2017

BEAUJOLAIS
Wine Tasting

April 25, 2027

Montreal was visited by 36 Beaujolais wine produces from France. Each winery presented a number of vintages; the wine tasting event was quite abundant. It was impossible to taste every wine present, a special discernment what to taste ans what to omit from one's tasting experience had to be exercised. There were some hard choices to make!

It is remarkable that maison Patriarche Père et Fils, its famous Pisse-Dru line of wines, had created a special wine for the Montreal's 375th anniversary, celebrated this year. Namely, it is Beaujolais 2015. The bottle's sticker has drawings of some historical Montreal buildings' façades as well as that of sthe prominent cross on top of Mont-Royal.

The Wine professionals attending this tasting event came from Montreal and other Quebec regions. They had a lot of questions to ask the winery representatives displaying the delectable French Beaujolais wines.

The event was held at the Science Centre in the Montreal's Old Port, in a large hall that has a great view of the Montreal's old historical houses and the St. Lawrence River.

Some great Quebec artisanat style cheese, cold cuts, and bread were also served to make this wine tasting so much more enjoyable, and ensuring the sobriety of all.

The event was a great success.
